Noodles salad




Ingredients:


500 grams noodles


1/4 cup finely chopped leeks


2 carrots, thinly sliced


1 zucchini, thinly sliced ​​(not essential. If you can find it, use it.)


1/4 cup tomato sauce


3 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce


1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced ​​(remove seeds and chop)


3 ½ tablespoons sesame oil


1 teaspoon chili powder


2 tablespoons brown sugar


1 tablespoon sesame seeds (toss in a pan for a bit)


A pinch of salt


1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice


How to make:


First, you need to boil the noodles. Here's how to do it. Take a large pot and add water to it. Add a pinch of salt.  Now increase the heat and bring the water to a boil. When the water boils, add the noodles. Then, stirring occasionally, boil the noodles. It will take about 5 minutes to boil. If you boil it too much, it will not work. Then the noodles will become mushy. That is, if you boil it too much, the noodles will stick together. So, you need to watch it carefully and boil it.


After boiling, drain the water from the noodles well.


Then, rinse the noodles with cold water for about two more minutes. Now the hard work is over.


Next, take a slightly larger bowl and add sugar, tomato sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt, and lime juice to it and stir until the sugar dissolves.


Now, add leeks, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, sesame seeds, and chili flakes to the noodles and stir. Don't stir too much.


 Refrigerate this for about two hours before eating. That's it! Now all the work is done. That's how you make noodle salad.
